Paulie P. Cortez Memorial Foundation
About
Paulie P. Cortez Memorial Foundation raises awareness of the dangers of drowsy driving.
Paulie Cortez (21) fell asleep behind the wheel.
Drowsy driving is a real thing and it kills people every day. Drunk driving and drowsy driving result in a similar amount of car crashes yearly. The difference is that when a drowsy driver is pulled over, it is harder to tell that he or she is driving tired due to an adrenaline rush kicking in because of the nerves people get when approached by an officer.
There are many ways that you can prevent drowsy driving however, you can not prevent others from drowsy driving if they are not informed of the causes that may occur. Do your part, don’t drive tired and spread the word.
your life is important.
